Scout Unit Commissioner Training Page Scout Unit Commissioner Annual Roundtable Agenda. Journey to Excellence Evaluations will (or should) be coming in with each unit recharter. Make sure you as a unit commissioner have taken the forms to each unit, met with the leaders, and have gathered the necessary information so that we can determine where they are for this first year Journey to Excellence. This one will be the baseline that will be used to set the journey forward for next year. Because of the lateness of getting the information none of our units has had a full year to work on their Journey, so exceeding the Journey next year should be relatively easy. We are hoping for mainly Bronze, with a few silvers this year. Next year, Silvers should be the rule rather than the exception. If you need forms click here Journey to Excellence or the Journey to excellence link on the homepage. Remember that each Program (Venture, Varsity, Scout, and Cubs) use a different form so get the correct form for the unit you are visiting. This information needs to be gathered in October so that we can turn it in with the Recharters that start the 2nd week of November.
