Day Camps Around the State
Portsmouth Day Camp at the Seacoast Family YMCA:
Monday, July 12 – Friday, July 16, 2010 

  • For boys entering grades 1-5 in September*
  • Camp runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM
  • Campers bring a lunch
  • Snacks are provided
  • Volunteers are needed to run these camps. Volunteer as a camp den leader or program staff and your son attends at a discounted rate!**

    • Water Activities
    • BBs & Archery
    • Sports & Games
    • Crafts & Nature
    • Tag-A-Long program for siblings
    • ...and much more!
    *Tiger Cubs (boys entering grade 1 in September 2010) must attend camp with an adult partner. The Tiger Cub adult partner does not need to pay an additional fee. Tiger Cub adult partners are not considered volunteers and are therefore not eligible for the volunteer discount.

    **Adults interested in volunteering as den leaders or program staff for Day Camps Around the State must complete the volunteer application that is available online as part of this registration. Your son (one son) will receive a $95 discount off his Day Camp registration if you volunteer for the entire session. You must be selected to serve as a volunteer (you will be notified) and attend one of the two available day camp training sessions held on June 12 and 19, 2010 (unless you attended a day camp training session last year). More details will be sent to you once you apply to be a volunteer.

    Additional documents are available here. Prior to camp, you will receive information about what must be done prior to camp, when to arrive, what to bring (and not bring), and other important information.

    All Day Camp Around the State participants (youth and adult) must have a completed BSA Annual Health and Medical Record with at least Parts A and C completed.  Part B, the physical examination, is not required for Day Camps Around the State but is recommended.

    Health forms must be mailed (do not send via email or fax) to the Daniel Webster Council Service Center no later than two weeks prior to your son’s session. Please indicate the name of the camp when mailing in the health form.

    $25 non-refundable deposit per boy due at time of registration.

    Cancellation Policy: A refund will be given if the Daniel Webster Council Program Department is given written notice at least two weeks prior to the camp session for which your child is registered with no reason necessary. Refunds will be given until the scheduled day of arrival in cases of illness or injury with a written notice from a recognized health care provider (MD, DO, nurse practitioners, and physician's assistants). Refunds for Day Camps Around the State will be made directly to the parent/guardian after August 31. The required $25 deposit per boy is non-refundable.
