Air Show Encampment
Boy Scout Troops, Varsity Scout Teams, Venturing Crews, and Explorer Posts are invited to camp as a unit and participate in the Boston–Portsmouth Air Show, the signature event in Northern New England for the 100th Anniversary of Scouting!

Friday, August 27, 2010 2:00 PM–6:00 PM Portsmouth International Airport at Pease
Encampment Location:
Town Center, Newington, NH
Air Show Event & Activities:
Saturday–Sunday, August 28–29, 2010
Logistics:
Parking and initial check-in will take place at Pease. Transportation to and from the encampment tent city will be provided for participants and their personal equipment.
All meals are provided—Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch/dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch.
This is a low-impact and “Leave No Trace” event. No fires will be allowed and there is no need for dining flies or cooking equipment.
Once on encampment grounds, all gear must be walked to assigned tent sites.
Water and portable toilet facilities will be provided.
All BSA Guide to Safe Scouting policies apply, including at least two-deep leadership.
All participants will be expected to assist with the Air Show event for a portion of the weekend.
Registration:
Encampment cost is $45 per participant (youth and adult). This fee includes all meals, admission to the Air Show for both days, a t-shirt, a patch, and a special memorabilia item.
Encampment registration is done on a unit (group) basis only. No individual registrations will be accepted for the encampment.
All registrations must be completed online by clicking Register>> at the bottom of this page. Registrations are first-come, first-served. Space is limited, so register early! Registration begins on May 10, 2010.
Registration for the encampment ends August 13—no exceptions!
