The Massabesic District supports the programs of the Boy Scouts of America in the Greater Manchester area. The district is comprised of 20 Cub Scout packs, 20 Boy Scout troops, and 7 Venturing crews.

Advancement Policy Update The Daniel Webster Council Advancement Committee has set forth two major initiatives, effective immediately, related to Internet Advancement and merit badge blue cards.
National Registration Fee Increase Effective January 1, 2010, the national registration fee to join Scouting will increase from $10 to $15. This increase will be in place for the next recharter cycle, so units should plan accordingly now when setting joining costs/dues.
MyScouting MyScouting is a member portal that provides access to a variety of resources available through the National Council, like online tour permit applications, training courses, and internet advancement.
