Cub Scouts is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys ages 7-10 and their families. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Boys can begin as Tiger Cubs as they finish Kindergarten, and then move into the Wolf and Bear Cub Scout programs (second and third grade, or age 8 or 9), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth grade, or age 10). They then transition into the Boy Scout program.

In the Daniel Webster Council, Cub Scouts and their families may look forward to Cub Scout Camping opportunities and many other community-centered District Activities. These service projects, games and camping activities guide boys
through core values and give them a sense of personal
achievement. Parents, leaders and friends play an active
role in the program as they encourage boys to live the Cub
Scout Motto “Do Your Best.”

Boy Scouts is an outdoor program designed to develop character, citizenship, and fitness for boys ages 11 through 17. Through the advancement program and peer group leadership, Scouting helps a boy develop into a well-rounded young man. The Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank in Scouting, is recognized around the world as a mark of excellence.

In the Daniel Webster Council, Boy Scouts may look forward to Boy Scout Camping opportunities and many other District Activities. In Boy Scouts, youth take responsibility for the activities of the troop. By planning and organizing activities, they develop teamwork and learn to lead as well as follow. After Boy Scouts, many young men transition into
the Venturing Program.

Young people in Venturing learn leadership skills and participate in challenging outdoor activities that help develop self-confidence.

In the Daniel Webster Council, Venturers may look forward to Venturing Camping opportunities and other District Activities. Venturing focuses resources that help a community organization provide wholesome, flexible, well-rounded, challenging activities, tailor-made for teenage youth.
